WITH NO MOM INSIGHT, SHE IS FOUND WALKING THE STREETS ON HIS OWN ON A COLD WINTERY NIGHT AT JUST TWO WEEKS OLD.
On a cold wintery night, she is found walking the streets all on her own with no Mom anywhere to be seen. At only two weeks, old she was plucked from the streets and taken to a shelter, however, they don’t have the time nor the resources to take care of a bottle kitten.
Alley Cat Rescue, Lost Angeles is called regarding the possibility of taking care of the tiny tabby.
Their immediate reply was yes, and they soon took her in, naming her Noelle.
“She cried constantly and took a while to settle,” Alley Cat Rescue a spokesperson said.
She meowed constantly, stopping only when she was cuddled.
They soon realized this demanding little girl needed a companion, they just happened to know the right cat for the job.
Long time foster resident Harrow, who had also come from streets offered a friendly paw to Noelle. The question was would Noelle accept it?
SOON SHE BEGAN TO GAIN WEIGHT.
A senior cat with lots of experience taking care of kittens, he came running as soon as he heard her meows. So happy to have a buddy, Noelle soon cuddled up to him purring up a happy storm.
“Of course Grandpa Harrow took little baby Noel under his paw! He now purrs constantly and she has stopped crying too,” the rescue said.
Things took a turn for the worse when Noelle suddenly came down with a cold and stopped eating. She began losing weight at a rapid rate and stuck close to Grandpas’ side.
Given some antibiotics, she was kept under Harrow’s watchful eye and was soon back to full health.
Staff soon found this now confident kitten slotted in anywhere, accepted by every cat and kitten at the rescue. Very playful, she was also very polite, never demanding dinner, just saying thank you with her happy purrs.
“She had awful parasites-when she joined us in December last year,” Alley Cat Rescue said.
“With determination, lots of love, good food, a warm home, and meds helped her through.”
Noelle is almost ready to start the next stage of her life and is looking for the right family to provide her with a loving forever home of her very own.
“She fits in anywhere, is super confident, loving, and playful she politely asks for dinner and rewards you with happy purrs.”
Her journey from a homeless kitten, wandering the streets alone, to a healthy happy young teenager has had many ups and downs. But she never gave up and has transformed into the sweet loving cat you see today.
